Precision Light for Serious Adventures

The Beacon Pro uses an aspherical polycarbonate lens that produces a clean, focused beam with no dark spots or rings. At 700 lumens on high, it throws a usable beam to 150 meters — enough to navigate technical terrain at speed. The medium and low modes are tuned for camp tasks and extended-duration use, delivering 12 and 45 hours respectively from a single charge.

The 3350mAh lithium-ion battery charges fully in 2 hours via USB-C, and a four-LED indicator shows remaining capacity at a glance. The lock mode prevents accidental activation in your pack — a small detail that saves real frustration on multi-day trips. Press and hold both buttons for 3 seconds to engage or disengage the lock.

The red night-vision mode was designed with input from alpine climbers and astronomers. It provides enough light to read a map or find gear in your tent without destroying dark-adapted vision. The IPX8 waterproof rating means full submersion to 2 meters for 30 minutes — tested and certified, not just marketing. At 85 grams including the battery, the Beacon Pro disappears on your head during all-night pushes.

Night vision saver

By Sam K.

The red mode on the Beacon Pro is the real deal. During a 3am alpine start on Mount Rainier, I used it exclusively for the first two hours while our eyes adjusted to the darkness. When I finally switched to medium white mode, the transition was seamless — no blindness, no stumbling. The dedicated red button means you never accidentally cycle through white modes to get there. Every headlamp should work this way.

45 hours is no joke

By Taylor P.

Took this on a 5-day backpacking trip in Olympic National Park. Used the low mode every evening for camp chores, cooking, and reading for about 2–3 hours per night. After 5 days the battery indicator still showed two bars. I charged it when I got home but I'm convinced it would have lasted another 3–4 days easily. The USB-C charging is a massive improvement over proprietary cables — one cable for phone, headlamp, and battery bank.

IPX8 tested in a downpour

By Jordan C.

Got caught in a sustained downpour during a winter run in the Cascades. Rain was coming down sideways for over an hour. The Beacon Pro never flickered, dimmed, or showed any sign of water intrusion. I've had headlamps rated IPX4 and IPX6 that fogged up in similar conditions. The IPX8 rating on this one is real. At 85 grams, I forget it's on my head until I need it.
